Steering wheel clunk/pip when going in reverse after driving forward

Anyone ever have a thud/pop sound and feeling in the steering wheel when going in reverse after having driven forward?

I've had the front coil overs off twice and reassembled everything correctly; outer tie rods to spindle, lower control arm to spindle, etc... have a 3 inch spacer lift on front. Had to take off the OME /Bilstein setup in the front temporarily because the snap ring had bent. He 3 inch spacers in front came with the truck from dealer.

It may worth noting too that the current coil overs have been on for over 300 miles before this sound/feeling started happening.
