Steering wheel column ?

I have an 04 SR5 4x4 v8 with 90k and in every aspect well maintained and cared for. I have recently noticed a slight/mild giggle type feeling coming through the steering wheel column, noticed primarily on rough/uneven dirt road conditions. I don't notice it when driving on paved roads or going over speed bumps. The giggle feeling is like and in and out type feeling (like something is lose down in the steering column. Overall it seems like a minor issue (its more annoying than anything esle, espeically because I also own a 91 toyota pick up w/160k which is still super solid). Am I just nit picking at what may be the result of 90k of wear and tear, or is something not right? has anyone else experienced something similar? Any help or opinions would be appreciated!

UPDATE:
Since I paid for an extended warranty when I bought my tr4, I figured I would let my mechanic take a look. It turns out the upper intermediate shaft (part of the steering shaft assembly) was warn out causing slack/play, which is what i felt through the steering wheel when on rough terrain. Warranty covered it, just had it installed an problem solved. :)

I hope this is helpful to anyone who may be experiencing a similar issue.
