Steering Wheel Controls?

I just purchased a 2005 SR5, and I want to install a Pioneer AVH-3800 I bought about 6mts ago for another vehicle. This SR5 has steering wheel controls. Can you give me some guidance for exactly what I need for this vehicle/radio combo for steering wheel controls as well as the adapter that runs between the pioneer radio and the existing factory wiring harness?

I have been to Crutchfield, and I see where they offer a harness for steering wheel controls. However, it appears that you cannot purchase the harness without purchasing the radio. Am I incorrect? If not, I am trying to see how the purchase the proper harness (part number and vendor location) without purchasing the radio since I already have it.

Can anyone help with that?

You can go to accessories and get it there. Or you can build a shopping cart with everything (radio, harnesses, interfaces etc). Get those model numbers from crutchfield, go to amazon type them in and get exactly the same thing.

Its a very simple process.

There's also this option available:
iDatalink - Maestro - Maestro RR

(Crutchfield sells it too).

That's what I used when I installed a radio in my '07 in September. It was really easy to program, and I like the fact that it's easy to define exactly what you want each button to do. The gauges, etc are a neat little bonus if you have a supported radio, too (which I do). Works with the stock JBL setup as well, as that's what I replaced.
