Howdy! Anybody know what is the right tool to remove the steering wheel lock plate from the upper shaft? The kit from Oreilly's doesn't seem to have the correct adapter.
Figured it out. I thought it was loaded behind the clip ring, but it is only a little bit. Just took the ring off. Then used a couple clamps to compress the spring to put the clip back on. New steering shaft to remove the play. Drives like a dream.
