Hey Dudes,
infamousRNR and I have another video for you. If you wanted to know how to remove and replace the steering wheel on your 3rd Gen, here's a video you can use for the job. As a result of us troubleshooting a problem with the cruise control after the steering wheel swap, you also learn how to replace the cruise control switch.

Here's the video and Enjoy the Show!

Saw that pop on my youtube feed this morning but haven't watched it yet

Do you address changing all the stalks when pulling the wheel?

Nice job. I've always used the brute force method of rocking 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock with the caveat of only doing so with the nut screwed on a couple of turns. Keeps the teeth intact that way.

Thanks for posting this. I just found out sadly that my recently swapped wheel is a repainted originally brown non-Tacoma/4Runner wheel. The black is flaking off. Those F-rs on ebay got me.

I'm going to go down to the local scrap yards one of these weekends to find a better replacement.

I wonder if a Tundra steering wheel would swap over, as they have radio controls on the steering wheel.

You bought a new OEM steering wheel?

The cheapest I've seen for that part is almost $900 on Camelback, assuming I was looking at the right one.

No, new to me, but used. I just bought one from TRD 4RNR, in much better condition than mine. It's not the same leather one as mine, but it's much better than having my torn up one or a cover.
