Agreed, not necessary unless you:
A) Have a lift
B) Have kids/shorter family members
C) Have both
D) Are you yourself short
I'm 6'4", and the factory lift on this Pro makes it so I can just slide in and out with a full leg extension. Perfect for my height. I had some Tyger nerf bars that the kids and wife use to step up but have since took them off, mainly because it negates the clearance of the lift. I made come paracord/carabiner grab handles for the seat backs so the kids can use those without issue instead. I also think the nerf bars protrude too much and actually get in the way of my leg getting in and out.
