Stereo Light

Ok this is a random question. I have a 2000 runner and my stereo does not have lights and it's a small thing but at night it drives me nuts! Has anybody done anything creative to fix this?

the truck is about 11 years old now, time to upgrade to a new radio that plays everything, much cheaper and not time comsuming. as to replace the bulbs on the stock stereo, its gona be more trouble .

Yes I agree that it is time to upgrade,and I think this is really worth it.

So are you saying that it did have bulbs in it at one point? I have never done anything with a car stereo so I will have to find some help. Got any recommendations on stereo's/radios?

k this problem is continuing but now my temperature control lights are doing it off and on as well. I asked advance auto parts about it possibly being a fuse but they said there isn't a specific fuse for this part of my interior. Any suggestions?
