so my brother-in-law replaced his OEM stereo in his rubicon and offered it to me since its better then the one I currently have. does anyone know if its going to be possible to replace mine with his?

Below is a photo I found on line that i think is equivalent to his.

I believe his jeep uses a CAN-BUS connection.

It is also an odd ball size. I don't think it will fit unless you hack your dash up.

I would take the factory stereo, sell it and buy an aftermarket type. It will be much easier to install.

Definitely ALOT more work than its worth. Even if you were able to find a way to mount it, then you would be left trying to figure out how to wire. first step for wiring that radi in would be finding the actual harness which will either be HIGH dollar through the dealer, or going to a wrecking yard and cutting about 6 to 8" of wire with the harness, then you have to figure out how to splice the jeep harness into you t4r wiring.
