Stereo Question

I need to know how to properly remove my stereo so that I can install an IPod Interface to plug into the CD changer port. Do I need any special tools to do this??
In my brief research so far I have found that removing a tacoma stereo is much easier. Please help....

I've got a 98 too, used this guide to remove my stock stereo to install my Apline deck.
