I replaced the front speakers in a 1995 4runner i recently bought hand noticed that the stereo was wired all crazy. the back speakers were not working properly and the power anttena would not work. So I am trying to straighten all of the mess out. The factory wiring harness was cut out and I have figured out the front but the back speakers have tweeters built into the roof and I cant get them to work properly. They cut out at times and when you turn head lights on they go off. Please help!!!

You've got wires exposed somewhere.

Yeah you are going to have to trace each wire back to where it goes (speaker/amp/power/ground). It's not hard as the panel removal is pretty easy. Also take a look here. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/classic-t4rs/73947-after-market-radio-install-lesson-learned.html

I hate idiots who cut out the factory harnesses it pisses me off.
Same here. Makes me SOOOO ANGRRRY!!! It takes two damn seconds to add in an adapter for the factory harness; so do it people!!!!

Go to a junkyard and cut out what you need and splice it into your harness. Take everything from the plug at the back of the stock radio as far as you can go. Once you splice it in you can connect an aftermarket adapter harness for what ever radio you are putting in.
Or just sit down and label all the wires you have based on the wiring manual and add wire where you need it.
