Stickers you hate

THose are actually useful because if the driver is a DlCK than there is a company to tell. It makes the roads safer
Some companies don't even care. I called FedEx about one of their trucks who cut me off and almost clinched me should i haven't slammed my brakes. And their operator said they're in a rush due to that some packages HAVE TO BE on-time and that's what they get paid for. So i told them if he keeps it up, don't be surprised if one of your trucks and truck driver don't make it back.

DOn't like stickers on my cars and don't have any either. I do enjoy reading them sometimes, as long as they are not on my car.

those silly family stickers, not sure what they are called, usually white stick figures, for example: a man, a woman, 3 kids of various sizes (I guess we are to assume ages), a dog, a cat. Why do people bother with those? Do they think anybody actually cares? Most common vehicle these are on - big azz Suburbans, usually all stock.

:iagree:

1 dad, 1 mom, 13 kids, 3 dogs, 5 cats, a turtle, a fire hydrant, and a hamster:rockthrow:

Huh, I've never seen one of those. Lots of Obama 08 stickers though.

Didn't know we had such a large following of Obama haters.

Personally, I don't like any stickers...political or otherwise.

I don't hate Obame, I just think he:

-Has no leadership experience
-is running the country into the ground
-is a socialist, maybe even a communist(if he's not either of those, his ideas and policies certainly are)
-is the worst president we've ever had so far
-is raising our taxes to give to lazy people
-should have never been elected

Other than that, he's a great guy that suckered alot of uneducated people to vote for him. :)

He's still got a ways to be worse than Bush was for 8 years since his admin (plus a little of Clinton's) created the financial mess we alreay were in. Bush put us in a war we should've never went into and that is causing us to continue a downward spiral. I've been alive for over 4 decades and the millenium deacade has been the worst by far.

I'll pass judgement on Obama in another year but even if McCain won I don't see it being any better. (he never had a solid plan his whole campaign and Palin didn't help)

Hell, every president has turned their head at the issues since Reagan appointed Greenspan....they have all contributed to the current problems.

BTW, love the avatar. I missed Maiden when they came to town earlier this year.....

This has gotten way, WAY off-topic, but if you're going to go there, at least get your facts right. Barack Obama's dad is from Kenya, which last time I checked a map is not in the Middle East. His mom is from KANSAS, which last time I checked is really far from the Middle East. I could give you the benefit of the doubt and think you meant to say he's half mid-western, which would be correct, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case.

I'm all about intelligent debate that could lead to solutions for the things that ail our country. Keep in mind that the life we live in the US is much better than most of the rest of the world. Most of us don't walk outside and hear bombs and gunfire every day. Most of us don't leave our house to look for food for our families. The fact that a forum exists to talk about a car like the t4r is a testament to the opportunities people have in America. I don't think any of us were handed our 4rs, we worked to get them. But through travelling and seeing the world I know that most people don't get the opportunity even to work for it.

If someone wants to start a thread in off-topic about where our tax dollars should go or ideas that can be implemented to fix the minute problems with our country, then let's do it. But when everyone just piles on it doesn't accomplish very much. :repuke:

He's far scarier than that. If you are familiar with world history of the the 1920's, there are clear parallels.

But this is not a political forum.

Dealer stickers. All of them. It's a tacky advertising gimmick and high end dealers think they are above it by putting badges on instead.

Ditto. If you're gonna pay me for it, that's one thing. But that was one of the first things I did to my 4-Runner when I bought it (removed the dealer sticker). Same goes for the license plate frame thingies with dealer names on them. Pay me for it if you expect me to drive around with it on my car.

There's only been one subject I've felt strong enough about to place a sticker on my 4-Runner, and that is my POW-MIA YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN sticker. 2 actually. One on each of the two back cargo windows.

That's what I don't get. And I think the dealers really shouldn't give those to just anyone. I got backed into by someone with a dealer frame on their license plate. As they were about to hit me it was the last thing I saw, so needless to say even the mention of that dealer makes my fists ball up!

AWESOME.... wish more people felt that way

Amen, brotha!

Yeah my two stickers are my NRA sticker and my Marine Corps unit sticker. I have a parking sticker for school and an employee ID sticker for work but I don't count those. I also get really annoyed at a flag sticker that has faded. It can be the flag of any country, but once it starts fading, I think you should feel obligated to remove or replace it.

Interesting to see the responses because they reveal insights into the posters. People often attack what they really want but have not yet been able to achieve. The folks with the my dog is smarter v/s my kid is smarter are very telling of deeper level issues as are the posts who bash each. Did enjoy my own little personal revelation when I laughed out loud at the one about "pawn in my kid's plot to take over.." one.

So are you saying that deep down I really want a monster truck with fake bullet hole stickers, a minivan with 4 kids, 2 dogs and a cat represented by flip flops on my back window, and to own a car dealership so I can put my ugly badges on every vehicle I sell?
