I just wanted to expand my search to other states. I'm looking for a stock 98-2002 4runner. Automatic transmission and 4x4. Lockers are a bonus, but not necessary. Most importantly, no rust issues! Prefer low mileage.

Are you browsing craigslist in the (relatively) nearby areas? For some reason Chattanooga, TN tends to have a decent number on there consistently (I bought mine there a few months ago, 99 Limited 4x4 with locker).

Trying too. I don't want an aggressive lift. I'll be using it to cart the dogs around, hunting, kayaking, skii trips, etc. The worst terrain my vehicles see is rutted out gravel roads at a few of the boat landings I visit.

I'll keep Nashville in mind! The hard part is needing a place large enough to fly too. Some of the small airports have been expensive. For me, it's a lot easier to fly and buy versus racking up 15+ hours driving and having to coordinate with someone to ride with me. I work during the weekend.

I would love to find one from a member here. I have a lot of people completely stop responding when I ask for pictures of the underside.
