Stock 06 4X4 Tire Questions....

I know there is a tire thread here, but school me please...

If I get some meaty BFG k02, will the ride quality suffer a lot, also how about gas mileage??? And will they rub on stock height????

Or would I be better off getting a more road friendly tire?

I run a stock sized Nitto Terra Grappler G2 and have 0 issues. The BFGs may be slightly beefier but I don't think they'd rub. As far as gas mileage and ride quality of you are stock size it gas mileage will not change significantly. If anything I'm getting better mileage than I was with the Michelins that were in it when I bought it. My ride quality isn't any worse. The BFGs are a heavier tire though so that could affect both of those aspects. If you want off road capability but are super worried about ride quality and mpgs look into Terra Grapplers or Cooper AT3s. They still have great off road performance but are closer in weight to the stock tire.
