Stock Amp Output

Hey Guys. I'm wondering how much power the stock external amplifier puts out. I'm putting in a aftermarket HU that puts out max 50WX4 and I managed to get both harness options, the one that includes the stock amp and the one the bypasses the stock amp. Which approach should I take to the install? Bypass the amp or not? Thanks for you help

Personally, I would bypass the amp. Just pull it out.

Most aftermarket HUs have an amp in them anyway, so there's really no need for the stock one.

I would bypass the amp. You would be running a high quality single threw a low "quality" amp.

Yep, what they said! Yank that external amp out of there, it's weak and useless once you upgrade to an aftermarket HU.
