So please don't kill me.....but my wife got me the bazooka BTA850FH for my 2014 4Runner. I had always disliked the lack of bass and she wanted to surprise me. It's not what I would have picked but she tried her best. The ease of install and removal is intriguing though when I need to haul stuff and such.

I have a couple questions for the resident experts. I am wondering how to wire with the hi level inputs since there are no rca jacks. The wiring diagram I looked at shows that there are two sets of hi level inputs for each front speaker (one for the tweeter and one for the woofer). With this being the case, which wire would I tap into with the positap connectors? And the blue remote wire for the bass tube would tap into which wire on the head unit. Finally do I need to run a battery wire with in line fuse or does that wire tap into the head unit harness as well. I am including picture of the wiring diagram that I got from bazooka and from research. Thanks for any help you guys can give. Just don't want to fubar it and start tapping into the wrong wires.

Don't fart around with splicing wires or trying to figure out pins. Get the normal and reverse wiring harnesses and it will become plug and play. See link above. Note - there's also a metra brand version of the wiring harnesses that may be better than the ones I used.

So thanks to all who posted and pm'ed me. I had to get out the multimeter to test the connections and there was one of the connections not making contact. I spliced it in with a wire nut and all is well. Ran the cable to rear cargo space, grounded it and went for a ride. I am actually very pleasantly surprised by the addition the stock stereo. Definitely makes a huge difference in terms of bass response even with the smaller 50w amplifier. It adds just enough to make the stick stereo sound relatively decent and doesn't rattle off the rear view mirror. Just the right punch if you ask me. Couldn't be happier, and the wife is jacked that I am so happy. Win - win. Thanks again all
