Stock Limited Low Beam Headlight Height Needed

I've searched but haven't found an answer. I just need the cutoff height of the low beams on a stock 5th gen Limited 4Runner with the projectors.

I installed my Morimoto LED 2Strokes but I feel like the cutoff is too low. The light is nice but there's just no distance. If I go over a slight hill, the light projects far, so I think they are off quite a bit.

I read about parking 25 feet from a wall and adjusting within 4 inches of the H line. I feel like 4 inches up or down is quite significant

Can someone just park their Stock Limited so their headlight housing is 25 feet from a wall and measure the height of both cutoff lines. That should get me in range.

they are generally too high from the factory (or at least mine were)

try putting it level with the headlights then with a second vehicle see what that looks like as you drive past, adjust down as needed

Go find a parking lot where you can park back from a regular height car, and adjust it so it's just hitting the bottom of their windshield kind of thing, and go from there. You need to find the balance between high enough so the light carries far, but not in other driver's eyes. I'd go measure but my driveway has a slope so my figures won't translate to you unless you were to also park at the back of my driveway, lol.

These are all great ideas but i just need the height of the cutoff to get me squared away.

It depends on the distance to the wall you're measuring it on and the height of your bulb. So you'll need to measure the height of your bulbs first. Then follow the attached procedure.

Thanks but I tried that. It says the cutoff line can be 4" above or below the H line. That is a huge difference either direction. If someone can just tell me how high their cut off line is at 25 feet away will get me closer than that procedure.
