Woke up this morning to this....stolen catalytic converter....I've heard of people doing this but never thought it would happen to me....post your stolen cat aftermath

Couldn't resist...

a replacement catalytic converter runs about $500,- so with that and labor, this may be an insurance claim depending on your deductible.

Dang I knew it was come'n, but that was quick....haha...I was kinda stoked when I seen it...now I can justify the new exhaust to the wife...haha

Had some one steal mine at 2 in the afternoon from the school parking lot while I was at class. I was pissed. Those bastards. 70 Universal highflow cat and some pipe we were all better.

Had mine stolen in August, they used a pipe cutter on mine so it was a lot cleaner than yours. Still a hell of a surprise at 530 in the morning...don't think my neighbours were very happy. Made the trip to the muffler man quick and painless though, in and out in 10 minutes

Mine was stolen also. When I had the new non-eom Toyota cat installed (Walker brand) the muffler dude said that only the Toyota cats are targeted and not non-Toyota cats because they have very little precious metals in them. This is probably the reason they cost 1/10th the cost of a new Toyota cat.:moon:
