Stolen: Grille! :(

Someone snipped my Raptor light wires and ripped the grille off the front of my truck the other day. Until I can afford a new one, I mounted my LED's on the radiator shroud to fill the massive hole. I kinda like it, maybe I won't get a new grille?

Also, where can I get a used 05+ grille to Satoshi?

Dam that sucks man. I had my whole 4runner stolen down here in Denver a few years back. I am also looking for an '05 Satoshi grill. Seems a little hard to come by, in searching the threads.

That absolutely sucks! I would be wondering if they weren't trying to get the hood open and got scared off. Crime unfortunately is everywhere these days. I hate taking my vehicles anywhere now.

Well, after receiving some praise and staring at the front of my rig profusely today... I think im going to black out the grille mounting areas and leave the LED lights for awhile and see if it grows on me more. The lights just look right, they are totally flush with the front of the rig and don't protrude. I mean, if someone tries to steal them, they have to take my radiator mount with them.

I worked at the jeep dealer in boulder, they used to steal everything off the cars..lights, trim, wheels, one weekend they stripped the xfer case and complete front axle off a cj.

Try to park your rig in safe, well lit places, maybe change up your parking routine a bit. If you can secure the lights better (epoxy fasteners etc) and etch an identification on them that might slow em down a bit too.
