So I had some wire mesh left over from a Satoshi grille project (my son's 2000 4runner) and decided to make some stone guards for the stock floods on my 2006 SR5. It was easy-peasy: Pop out the fog light bezels, cut some mesh to shape, pound a curve into the mesh with a towel and sledge hammer, and snap the bezel back in place with the mesh behind it. The bezel will hold the mesh in place without any glue or fasteners.
Doing both sides took less than 30 minutes, and the mesh was less than $2.00. Still not sure if I like the look or not, but I figure I'll go with it for a while and see if it grows on me. Enjoy.
