Storing tires in hot weather

I finally decided I've put enough miles on the less-than-ideal Dunlop Grandtreks that came with my 2004 4Runner, and took advantage of a Bridgestone rebate deal to buy Dueler A/T Revos, which I loved when I had them on my 1994 4Runner before I bought my new truck.

My thought is that I'll get through the summer (typically dry in Denver) on the Dunlops and have the Revos put on in late August or early September when we might start getting some inclement weather.

For you tire experts out there: Is there any problem in storing the tires in a shed until early fall? Will the heat in the shed hurt the tires at all?

The biggest destroyer of tires is sunlight, so keep them covered and you should be all rite. You may want to clean the tires real good and coat them with a NON- petroleum based protectant.

I have a set of Michelin CTs completely coated with armor-all in large plastic bags

I store my tires in the barn. Never had any issues with that.
