StormTrooper 4Runner?

I'm big into color schemes of my cars, and my last color of choice was silver. Currently I'm on a white kick, hence the BP LTD.

Now here is where the StormTrooper comes in. I also have hot rod pickup, thats white with black wheels and I'm debating on tinting the glass to give it that dramatic contrast.

I also think the 4R is tough enough to get the StormTrooper look as well.
So long story short, does anyone have a white 4R with tint and black wheels? If so, post up some pics!

Why not go with white wheels and break up the overplayed black wheel trend and the white body is one of the few colors you can pull off white wheels with and it would look classy on a LTD model.
 
Why stop with the wheels and tint?

Do a full on Stormtrooper look and black out all the chrome on it. I suggest using plasti-dip so it can be reversible. I think the 5th gen can pull it off.
 
Do you mean something like this? I haven't decided if I will put black wheels on or not.:shrug:

ya, no photos yet though. ive storm trooped my 4th gen 4r.

its looks sick, its just a preference thing for the small details. i painted my headlight housings white and my nerf bars white. i got 10% tint on front and 15% everywhere else. then i debadged and painted the toyota emblems white. the only thing thats off color is the roof rack. IMO the only way this looks good is with dub deuces+, im not a fan of the 15's with 33's on a themed car.

i like it, but the black rim phase is getting played. ive done the murdered out jeep, and now ive got this but im currently looking for new wheels to powdercoat white. call it snow white, like joe johnsons (atl hawks bball player) camaro.

i am the whitest kid ever. thanks atlanta!

thinking about the few suggestions, including mine, to white the wheels... you may want to avoid it.

snow white wheels on a bpearl paint would look awkward. and i def wouldnt paint match.

since you know themes im of the assumption you know who rob dyrdek is and his stormtrooped fleet (the continental gt, the 911 and currently the tahoe) but all of his themes have been cohesive because his body paint is always snow white... currently a matte white on the tahoe with a matte black taillight tint.

it looks SO legit, but im saying with a stocker pearl you may have difficulty pulling a white, or even a paint matched.

the next best option for a storm troop option wheel is to get fours in brushed aluminum. still a custom look but no chrome which screams 97 cash money clique.

the limited wheels are awesome though, dubs on the 4th gen look just stock enough with a hint of steez.

ps tinting the taillights are crucial to this process. i recommed the tint film, if you get pulled over (tint is a secondary violation) you can rip it off and avoid the additional fine.

and i love the photo above in the sand. reminds me of a new hope when the storm troopers are digging around for parts from the jettison emergency craft carrying 3PO.

...still white.
 
I like the white and black color. Wish the TE would have come in white. I think a titanium/grey wheel might look pretty tight. As for the brake light tint, it may be secondary in GA but in other states it is a primary. Id also suggest getting the TE headlights installed. They have the balck interiors.
 
A Stormtrooper 4Runner would be nice!

I think it should have white wheels, black trim (replacing all the chrome) and blacked out head/tail lights too.

Someone should photoshop one up!

yeah a 3rd gen but love the scheme

I did mine with truck bed liner its a third gen but i love the look its got black wheels tinted all windows bumpers and all trim is blacked out.if u want to look go to 3rd gen. Forum and look up ski4runner build thread
