Strange hot spot on headlight

I am getting this strange beam pattern on my left headlight, changed to a different bulb but still the same beam pattern so that tells me it’s the headlight unit. You can see the hot spot looking like a square (?) at the bottom and a rectangle above the square, has anyone encounter this before or know how to resolve this?

I am going to say it’s the way your hid bulbs are clocked inside the housing. The arc is normally supposedly face down. And also the aim of the headlights. The headlight wasn’t made for Hid bulbs so it’s not going to look perfect or like oem hids. I had weird hotspot with Hids as well.

I am using HID bulbs

Put the stock halogen bulbs back in and see if the odd hot spot still exists. If so, then the projector is defective. But as the others have said, the aftermarket HID bulbs are more than likely the cause since the optics for halogen and HID projectors are not the same.
