When I start my 99 with the 3.4 it fires up and sometimes immediately idles down to 450rpm, then dies shortly thereafter. So I started giving it a little gas when I would start it and now it's curb idle is sticking between 1100 and 1250, and idle under load is at 870 to 900. It is only showing the P0420 code which has been on for 2 months now and this problem just started a week ago.
Any suggestions?
