Strange Starting Problem

I have posted this several weeks ago and still have the problem so I thought I'd give it one more shot! When the truck has been sitting for several hours and I start it and put it into gear I get a noise somewhat like valve clatter- almost as if it was low on oil. This seems to be worse in the mornings but it does it in the afternoons as well. The noise goes away after I drive about 1/4 mile and the engine runs OK. It seems to be worse in cooler weather. If yours is a 4th gen, there is a service bulletin for the A/C pulley. I had a problem that sounds similar. They said the pulleys were not aligned perfectly, and had a fix kit for it.....Since they fixed it, I haven't heard a peep from it....Good luck
