STRONGEST tube bumpers?

I'm about to order either a front or a rear bumper, and prefer the tube style. I like Addicted Off-roads, and Davez..... which do you guys think is more reinforced? Or feel free to suggest a brand, thanks.

More importantly is how they mount to the frame of the rig. A winch, front, bumper needs to withstand a recovery yank and/or winch pulls.

I know that Addicted sells a frame reinforcement kit that is well worth getting.
 
Trail-Gear also makes some pretty sweet tube bumpers. Just look for DOM tubing when you select one--it's the toughest that I've read about. Tip--Low-Range Offroad carries all the Trail-Gear goodies, and usually beats their prices, too.

This. Make sure you brace the frame or your nuts will pull out under load. And yes, its as bad as it sounds..

4xI makes a weld on brace (above) and a bolt on one. And bumpers..

yes, the reinforcement kit is CRUCIAL. I think im gonna go with the rear first...idk if ill put it on first but im gonna order it first.

I have the 4xI rear bumper on my 93, and it has a Class II receiver hitch, and two more recovery points drilled through 1/2" of steel. I found out - it doesn't have a problem with recovery yanks, and with two/three guys it's easy to install. This sucker is WELL BUILT!

If your'e putting them on for 4 wheeling go with the front first, that is where you will take most of your damage on trails. Also, look for local fabricators. Getting them made locally lets you get whatever you want and usually for much less. It may cost upwards of $100 just for shipping.

never seen a custom fabbed bumper for less then you can buy one.

I disagree with this. The departure angle on early 4Runners is much worse than the approach angle, and dropping off obstacles tends to be more violent than nosing up to them.

Get sliders first, then a rear before a front.
 
Hahaha, slides will come eventually. There aren't many rocks to slide on around here so huge rush. We do have some big logs..
