Stuck between 2 4runners advice needed

I can buy a 2007 limited 1 owner 9.5 out of 10 4wd for 14,500.00 i was just about ready to purchase it when last night i ran into a 2003 Sport for sale. The 2007 has 149000 miles it has been dealer serviced since new and mostly highway driven new brakes tires oil change on schedule 1 owner. The 2003 is at a local lot it is also very clean dont know the history on it very well. I can get the 2007 for 14,500.00 Dealer is asking 15,500.00 for the 2003 which i am sure has some wiggle room. Any thoughts on the difference in the years? The 2007 is a V8 the 2003 is a V6.

What are the miles on the 03? I would be worried about a service history that they don't have records for cause you never know the servicing that it received. I would think that the 07 would be a good deal with the service history behind it plus I know a quite a few people on here would tell you to get the 07 since it has a V8.

I'd go for the. 2007 - based on what you've posted.

Is the 2003 one of those with the black cladding? I'd skip that for sure.

Can't see myself paying that much for the 03 V6. 4speed auto instead of 5 speed auto too.

Just the fact that the 2007 is a V8, I'd go for that. Great price too.

Would lean toward the 07 with the V8 since you know the service history on it. The V8 is a plus but the service history would be big for me.

That's the way I feel too dealers are hard to trust... I know all the history on the 07 and it's 70% freeway miles

I am not a fan of the black cladding either and yes the 03 has it. And I like some of the limited features as well... Thanks for advice

Thanks to everybody I kinda had my mind made up already but a little reassurance is always nice. What are people using for mild lift kits? Like 2.5 inch or so?
