I decided it's finally time for me to make a build thread, as I continue to mod my Runner, and I have no one else to share the glory with! I called this the snail build, as it's been a relatively slow build, and it will continue to be.

2004 4Runner SR5 v6 4x2

Current mods (as of 9/7/2013):
Interior:
-OEM All-weather floor mats
-OEM Limited Cargo Cover
-OEM Cargo Area Floor Mat
-LED Map/Dome/Door lights
-Stickerbombed Dash (to cover the cracks lmao)

Exterior:
-Yellow, Independant Fog Lights
-Bright-ass eBay LED Reverse Lights
-OEM Running Boards Removed
-Plasti-Dipped Grille, Lower valence trim, Tailgate Trim, and rear Bumper.
-A Couple Stickers
-Rola Vortex (waiting on drop brackets, then I forgot about them)

Suspension/Wheels/Tires:
-265/70/17 Goodyear Wrangler Adventure A/T (one is a Silent Armor, my old spare, long story).
-'07 FJ Stock Suspension
-DayStar Comfort Ride 1" Leveling Kit

Engine/Intake/Exhaust:
-AFE Cold Air Intake
-NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
-Meineke "Turbo" Muffler
-TRD Exhaust Tip sitting in basement still, got a free tailpipe from meineke.
-Resonator delete

Now that I look at it, my tires don't look too aggressive... Hoping to get a fifth soon, as well as get on top of that FJ suspension install.

New Reverse Lights

I installed some 886 lights in my reverse lights today! Here they are:

I know the license plate light is out... It's a loose connection.

I've got the FJ suspension still sitting in the garage, but I'm kind of split between going for the Toytec spacer up front or going Daystar 2.5/1.5. If I go the Daystar route, it may take me another or month or two to get the green together for it. From there, we'll just see how it goes!

I think I'm holding off on my mods for a while... This being in lieu of a 4WD conversion I see coming this way. I'll be using an A750F transmission coupled to a VF2A manual transfer case from an FJ Cruiser. I'll be buying everything used/rebuilt other than the Front hub assy.'s and CV Half-shafts.

Ordered 1" front daystar spacers to go with the fj suspension. Levelling/lift should be going on next weekend!

Pretty eventful weekend.. Seafoam'd (Why didn't I get any smoke? :/ ), Changed oil and spark plugs, and going to paint bumpers tomorrow! And will hopefully swap suspension after I get back while the bumpers are off. May give me a bit more room.

While my bumper was off, I decided to look into modding the red reflectors.

I opened up the area that, on the non-US models, is used for a bulb:

I then went to go pick up some dual filament bulbs:

My plan is to use these as more brake/tail lights, and if anyone has any input on how I should connect these to the brake light circuit, I'd like to hear. I do still need to order 7443 connectors.

i'd just get a socket and tap it into the tail light + shouldn't be too much draw coming from those little bulbs
