Stuck CD

I've had 2 CD's stuck in my 6 disc changer for a while. Today I disconnected the (negative) battery lead and after I reconnected it I was able to remove them.

This happened a few years ago, but it was with a homemade CD my daughter had put in. The CD was stuck for a while, and I had given up on ever getting it out, then my battery went bad. I replaced the battery with one from Sears, and the first time I turned the car on the CD was able to be removed.

I figured it was because it was a homemade CD but then it happened with 2 production CD's. They played fine for a couple days, then they wouldn't play of eject.

Disconnected the lead, wait a few seconds, put it back on, and now I can eject them.

Anyway, hopefully this might help someone get out a stuck CD.

The only downside is it resets your trip mileage counters and your MPH/MPG/Range displays to 0.
