So.... even though I thought it was probably overkill, my wife and I invested in 'winter tires' for our '04 SE this past winter in Boston, thinking it would be like last year. (It wasn't -- and it WAS overkill, but my wife won out and it's not the point of this thread.) I'm retiring my old SE rims to be with the winter tires since the rims are showing their age quite a bit (corrosion, road rash, etc). Which brings me to the title of my post....
I'm trying to figure out whether I want to purchase a set of FJ Cruiser 6-spoke rims or the 5th Gen 2010/2011 SR5 6-spoke rims. I've spent the last week doing research on here before this post. I've seen several 4th Gens with the FJ rims, and I think they definitely look good. However, I came across an eBay auction for a set of the 2011 (5th Gen) SR5 rims (6 spoke) for a good price. I think they would also look really good, but I've yet to see a picture of them on a 4th Gen... the only thing I've found are 4th Gens with the Trail Edition rims on, which I personally don't care for, but this is obviously all a matter of taste.
Again, I know that it comes down to what *I* like, but I was just looking for a little feedback or thoughts from anyone who wants to chime in. And by all means, if you know of a picture of a 4th gen with the 5th gen SR5 rims, please share!
