That sucks! Isn't that plastic in that spot? Maybe it will just pop out.Fo_SheeZy said:Rims & tires came in at the local shop so I went by to look at them (at night) when I came out, obviously another vehicle had parked behind me and I didn't notice...

Yeah I don't know why I didn't even think to look, the guy was parked on the side, not even in a parking spot, but yeah I'm usually careful as hell and a lot of times I roll my back window down.HB 4X4 said:Ouch man that sucks...
You have to be much more observant when you make the call to have tint. I always check things like that every time I get into my truck. At least it was a car and not someone's kid that you didn't see.
Isn't your tint only 5% in back and 35% in front though?
So are you in it for his car too, I mean he wasn't legally parked right?Fo_SheeZy said:Well, it's cracked pretty bad and it's deep as hell. Even if it were to pop out, it'd still look like shit. I ordered a new bumper this morning though. :bigok:
Just gotta drive a round with a big dent for a few days..

On all rear windows I've got 20% with 5% over that. On the front it's just 35%, but soon I'll be getting another layer of 20%, and maybe 50% on the front windshield.
The funny thing is.. it didn't even put a scratch on his truck.. it was a chevy truck and I hit the chrome front bumper. Lucky for me, or I would've been paying for two bumpers.drmorbius said:So are you in it for his car too, I mean he wasn't legally parked right?
You know, that's a great idea!darkie3495 said:brutal...sorry man. I guess a backup camera might be on the list for future mods![]()

I would never leave the scene of an accident that I had caused, I'm not like that. I told that employees at the shop and they came out there and looked at the truck with me, and no one could find any damage. I told them to tell the guy if he noticed something later to get in contact with me. The reason I got another layer of tint is because 20 was no where near dark enough. You could clearly see threw it.riceandpho said:hit and run? that is not that bad of the damage, why did u even double tint the windows, lesson learned?? i need to get mines tinted, just need the money.
The thread title is more or less a joke, it's my own fault, not the tint. I never even expected a vehicle to be parked behind me. Didn't notice it when I pulled in either.05 LTD said:So you blame it on the tint but youre going darker? Did I miss something?
Haha yeah thats exactly what I said, shit happens. :bash:HB 4X4 said:My windows are twice as dark as his, give him a break. He just had bad luck, shit happens.
