Sub Enclosure Question

My previous ride was a '98 camaro. Not much space in the back, so I had to invert the 12" sub enclosure (it is a triangular enclosure meaning the bottom is wider than the top). So I screwed the amp to the 'bottom' of the box. Anyway, the obvious position of the box is with the wider portion on the ground so the speaker fires upward. So I have to unscrew the amp. my question is this:

The box is fully enclosed. Do I need to worry about filling the screw holes when I remove the amp? What material should I use to fill the holes?

you can use silicon caulk. when they make boxes, they use silicon caulk to seal the inner edges to make sure there are no leaks. i'm sure you can use it to seal some small holes.
