Sub Woofer Ideas

I'm wanting to add a subwoofer in my truck and I'm looking for ideas.

I haul stuff all the time and need the space in the back. I'm thinking about those low profile subs and put it under the seat or I like the back wheel hub units but the Q one is too square.

What's everyone using? I'll need an amp too and I'll probably install everything myself.

I really like powered subs because they are easy to install and easy to remove since the amp is pre-matched and installed in the subwoofer box. I also haul stuff so I'm always taking it in and out. I have a 10" one from Blaupunkt but I think it's discontinued now. Do you have either keyfob brain box, or rear heater under seats?

I don't. RW10CA is a powered sub enclosure just fits under one seat, and amp for component speakers under the other.

Under seat sub and the mfg is sufficient for my needs, especially not giving up space in back.

Another under-seat sub user here. Cheap, effective, and out of the way. Would recommend!

I bought this 10" one last year and it works very well and sounds pretty good. I'm not new to car audio and was a little skeptical because of the off brand name but it fits great under the drivers seat and was a quick install. It wont rattle your teeth out like 2 12s in the back would but, it fills the low end in exactly like it needs.

MY set up. 10" kicker, 5 channel Kenwood map powering the sub and 4 door speakers. Made the box out of 1/2 MDF. Took my time, the box is sealed and also poly fill. It kicks hard, I love it.

I have a under seat 10in on the driver side. It works but isn’t going to win any sound competitions.

I use a standard sealed 10" enclosure in the back, mounted driver's side facing rearward, against the back seat. Alpine Type-R w/ 550w RMS.
