I agree with you on this. World media is disproportionately slanted to favor rich western countries and it makes me sick. Its a crying shame when the rich folks get murdered, but nobody really seems to notice or care when the poverty stricken people of the 3rd world are being killed who can barely feed their families, let alone worry about getting bombed at the local market. I did read about the attacks in Turkey and am of the opinion that as a NATO member they get crapped on unnecessarily by most of their supposed allies.

However, correct me if I'm wrong, but all the terrorist attacks mentioned in that article were the work of islamic extremists- ISIS or some Al-Quaeda derivative. They are a worldwide problem and we need a forceful and unapologetic worldwide response.

I started this so we can discuss like civil human beings and make intelligent statements backed up by some sort of credible source. What this comes down to is defending ourselves from people openly hostile to us, that others are inviting in for reasons that completely defy any sort of common sense. The problem for Belgium is that they have allowed people who are openly hostile to their entire western way of life to pervade through society and set up shop for illegal terrorist activities while their authorities publicly look the other way.

openly hostile... what exactly does that mean? holding a sign? having a really angry blog? lying to further your cause? buying up ammo and guns? disagreeing with you? Doesn't openly hostile depend on what side of the fence you are on?

have you ever been to Brussels? its a beautiful city, with a ton of history that most Americans cant even fathom because it began thousands of years ago not just a few hundred... They have great beer and enjoy themselves just as many of us do. They have some amazing landmarks, fountains, and fantastic square.

some there may be terrorists but i can GUARANTEE you there are places in america with terrorists... what are the KKK and neo-nazis but terrorists???? hell even religious terrorists, google abortion clinic bombings. i could go on all day.

Frankly, I would agree with him that it has become a breeding ground. However, I would consider it a two sided issue involving the hostility of one side against the alienation of another. Both sides fuel each other.

You could say this for quite a few scenarios, not just limited to an automotive forum. Though it does provide interesting demographics on political opinions in relation to vehicle choice. Not attacking anyone, but rather a comparison of average opinions in political threads I've seen in the various forums I frequent for different vehicles.
