Thats cool , great find ......I want one.

Is it available at any bookstore ?

Bookstores that sell National Geographic Adventure magazine or maybe demand that Toyota sell us a poster......

Yeah I have seen it in several magazines as well. I swore that I was going to call toyota and see if they make it as a vintage metal sign, because I think those rock anyway. But I just haven't had any time as I am in the middle of a move. Anyone else want to take the ball and run with it?

How funny, I thought the same thing when I saw it on the back page of the National Geo... I cut it out, framed it and hung it in the garage next to my work bench... 5 days later I see this thread... I find that funny, and strange...

yeah, they run that ad in the back of every new National Geographic mag. The whole ad reeks of the japanese trying desperately to overcompensate for their non-american car by surronding it by american icons. pretty Cliche' i think.

I don't know about you, but my 4Runner was made in America, I have the sticker to prove it. :D

Hate to break it to you but the T4R is made in Japan. Not sure what sticker you're talking about, but look on the drivers door label.

Those Nifty Nipponese should know that no one will ever drive their non-American 4Runner anywhere near an American icon :D

oh yeah completely, because lord knows that cooperation doesn't do anything, the only way to get results is to compete, and put the other guy out of business.

It is what it is ....... Marketing !!

Personally I'm damn glad mine was not made in this country. Kind of why I switched from domestic to Toyota.

That in a metal sign would be cool . I'd love one. OK who gonna start making them.:D

Hmm, is there anyway I can take that back? I was thinking about the big old "Made in Texas" on my old truck. OOPS! :bash:

There's already two of these. Forgot which magazine had the second one. :p
Yeah, there's a different one in January Road & Track I think - the one with a Shelby GT500 and a Corvette Z06 on the cover.
