Summer Vacation!

Hey guys!

I started off my vacation on friday with a nice little trip to a little Island on Lake Nipissing behind a little town called Alban in Ontario Canada. A couple of friends of mine were in town from British Columbia, and so we decided to party it up! No kiddies, just a bunch of folks on a private island......acting like irresponsible adults!

It was a great weekend filled with good times, great food, and great friends!

Looks like a Wolf Spider. I pick up Tarantulas like that, but my kid has one, so no biggie for me! Looks like a nice vacation Fightman.

I still try mustering up the courage to do that to my Chilean arachnid..............I still wuss up after 4 years.:hiding:

Looks like a good time! My dad and bro and I used to drive up near there to Lake Nosbonsing (sp) from West Virginia. Good walleye (pickeral) fishin for sure.

Hows the water temp that far north? Here is NC the lakes are already at a solid 88 degrees it's not even refreshing when it's 102 out.

Hey guys!

That spider is just a "Dock Spider", they hang out near lakes and eat the water bugs. I believe they swim on top of the water too.

As for the water temp, not sure what it was in Farenheit, but my buddy told me the water was around 27 degrees Celcius......the air temp was just a tad hotter.........
