Sun damage??

i just got my '02 and noticed a few little areas where it looks like the paint is starting to show signs of sun damage or oxidation - is there anything i can do to get rid of these spots before it gets worse? I live in florida so i would like to take care of it as the car is in the sun all day when i am at work. thanks in advance for any help

A friend of mine rubs the area with charcoal fluid. It seems to get rid of the oxidation, but I don't know if it comes back or if it'll damage the no affected areas. He did it on a 10 year old car.

The best way to prevent oxidation is regular and routine cleaning along with application of paint protection (wax or sealant).
