Our 4-Runner sun roof has been leaking and is inoperable. Plugged drains and defective cables appear to be the problem. 1st mechanic said motor was good and he could fix it after another mechanic replaced the retracting cables so he could access the drains.
Why do I need the 1st mechanic after 2nd guy replaces the cables?
And, why didn't/doesn't Toyota use stainless cables and tubes the cables slide thru?
