Hi everyone, the other day after a big snow I got in my vehicle to go grab some food for dinner. When I got in my vehicle I lit a cigarette - yes, bad habit but anyway's my driver and passenger side windows would not go down due to being cold and frozen. So stupid me tried the sunroof/moonroof and it made a funny sound and slid open about an inch. I thought that was strange and didnt want to damage anything so I pressed the button to slid it back shut. It slid back shut sounded funny when closing. I drove to town and back which is about a 40 minute trip all together and once I arrived back home I decided to try again. This time the sunroof/moonroof slid all the way open but it would not automatically - I had to hold the button in. When I went to close the sunroof/moonroof I had to hold the button in as well. So basically the sunroof/moonroof will not automatically open or close anymore - I use to be able to hold the button in for a couple seconds and let off the button and it would fully open or close - not the case anymore. Same issue when I tried to use the tilt feature. I had to hold the button down to get the window to tilt or close. Of course since I have to hold the button down to tilt open I am not sure where it should stop and the window reaches a certain height and starts making a grinding sound. So I quickly let off the tilt up button and tilted the window back down to close.
Can someone please help me here? I need the auto feature to work and I don't want my sunroof/moonroof to break here.
