Sunroof ordeal is OVER!!!

Well, Jeff at Southside Trim in DALLAS, not Fort Worth, got me all fixed up finally. Headliner is done and correct, switch was moved to the dash near the Diff switch, they replaced my console and put in a HomeLink console, and he was very nice to deal with indeed.

He owns part of the whole Southside Trim And Glass company and the Dallas store is his own. He had a nice little chat with the folks that did my install in Fort Worth as well.


I think I am finally happy with the sunroof as long as nothing else happens lol. I will try to get pics sometime tonite or tomorrow. Now I gotta program my new HomeLink for the garage door opener!

You guys know if the HomeLink will also work with X-10 home automation lamp modules??? I have most all my lamps on X-10 2-way modules, and the X-10 Active Home Control Professional on my PC with the USB interface and control module......

Some X10 stuff is compatible with Homelink, another company (also listed as X10), Black and Decker Freewire, is compatible. You should be able to control these from your car.

Yeah I'm glad it's finally all over and done with. It's 10:30 and we're still trying to get the baby to sleep. So no pics tonight. Kid's eating up all my free time, what LITTLE I had to begin with!!! Oh well, she'll make up for it by washing and waxing my 4Runner when she gets old enough!!! :bigok:

On the X10 and Homelink question, there was a discussion about it in the last couple of weeks. Do a search and you should find it pretty easily.
