Super Impromptu Trip (Central Va)

SO as I am sure a few of us know, There is rumors to be snow on Friday and Saturday here in Central Va. Depending on how much it is a vote for a run out to Flagpole.

Am I crazy for wanting to do this? I just want to play in some snow.

I've seen some reports of 30inches by saturday afternoon.. Better bring some recovery gear, haha.

i would see this turning in to a long weekend or more if you get stuck in it stuck. i have been up there in the snow and ice and it can be a bad spot in bad weather.

I have a friend who lives down near GWNF and he heads up there after big snow storms. I've seen videos of his Samurai (on 40" tires, one ton axles, V8, etc.) having a hard time in a couple feet of snow. I would love to go this weekend, but from northern VA, and with a rig that would require towing to get there, I'm not gonna make it.
