Supercharged?

I just recently baught an 01 t4r 3.4 that is supercharged. But how do I know if it's factory supercharged or put on later by previous owner(s)?

It's not a sport. Just a regular sr5. No goodie options. So that makes me think it was put on later.. ?

All superchargers were dealer options, none were put on at the factory.

Simple answer is you don't know.

You could put one on at any time with any trim level.

The only other way I can think of is trying to find the manufacture date on the charger to give you the earliest possible point it might have been installed.

If you don't want it, maybe we can work out a deal =)

Agreed here. They were not put on at factory, only an option at the dealer. Unless you have paper work saying otherwise, it was most likely put on later on.
