Okay so, something is leaking on my S/C, it's the 1st gen model if you can't tell from the picture. I have also noticed a sort of high pitched whistle when I hit boost, it didn't make this noise until a few weeks ago.

You can see that something is leaking around that area, just need to figure out what

There was a leak all around this connection, I just wiped off the top portion...'

Thanks in advance

High pitched whistle is usually caused by a boost/vacuum leak somewhere. Recheck all your connections to make sure everything is snug and no lines have holes or anything. As for your leak, I have no idea but I'm sure someone knows exactly what that is.

Yea my first thought was a boost leak just the same, but I am making a full 9 PSI at WOT...but I will check everything and not make assumptions

The O ring that is inside that connection is probably leaking. That is the vacuum side of the blower so if that O ring is leaking, it wouldn't cause a boost leak. Let me see if i can dig up a diagram.

Good deal thanks, would it be something I should bother replacing? Or wait until I send it off for a rebuild and let them deal with it

May I ask your opinion...

I've got a small leak of oil seeping out from behind the pulley where it meets the nose cone. It's a small leak but big enough to notice. Would you think this is due to a failed seal or do you think the supercharger is literally bending apart from the stress of everything?

Its from the seal. I have the same thing happening to me.

BTW your picture is not working for me.

your noise is a vac leak, with the supercharger pulling in so much air is can whistle on that intake port.

Seal. Just did mine about 3 months ago.
