supercharger help trd 4.0

Hello everyone! I bought my first toyota a few months ago and it definitely lives up to its reputation. Anyways my buddy has a 2003 4.7 trd supercharger on his 4runner he wants to sale. I have a 2004 4.0 4runner. Am i crazy for thinking this might work on my t4r?

no way the v8 s/c can work without SERIOUS modification as it replaces the Intake manifold.

I'd be interested in that supercharger! It won't work with a v6.

Hes asking 1500 but ill probably try talking him to 1200. Do you think if i got it to fit it would harm my engine?

Dont worry about it fitting. Go buy it. Now. You can resell that easy and for much more. Ive seen em go on eBay around $6k before, and have heard of even 10

There is no possibility of it fitting on a v6.

You'd be crazy not to. I'd buy it in an instant, even with my v6. So I'd either: a. trade v6 2wd for v8 4wd, or b. sell it and have my 4wd conversion cash.
