Seems a little to good to be true. Anyone have experience with it? For payment they want a direct transfer to their bank acct. Seems like an easy scam.

I did a domain lookup on them, it appears the website was created in August of 2016, registered in Singapore, so it's probably a legit site. I couldn't find anything on them on BBB or other websites, so that's a knock.

I would definitely avoid any direct transfer of any kind with anyone, unless you fully trust the seller. Insist on using PayPal when making any purchases like this. If they refuse then back out.

well they are located in Singapore, so you really have no recourse if something goes wrong, they could very well be legit but I wouldn't be willing to take the chance.

they list things like superchargers for tundras and sequoias which are us/canada only, that seems fishy, I would expect a legit company out of asia to list stuff for hilux surfs and landcruisers since that's what they are likely to have in the local markets

I put it in cart and then did proceed to check out... like jake says... the direct bank transfer is red flag. this looks sketchy as hell.

If it was legit I'd be getting one immediately, but no way i'm risking $1,900 off of a random chance. Even if they would take Paypal that would still be kind of risky wouldn't it?

JK.. this is at approximately 99/100 on the internal scam meter.

But if anyone gets one for $1900 let me know because that’s a lot cheaper than the 1uz swap I’m not realistically ever going to do.

The picture looks suspiciously similar down to the carpet tiles but at $3695.

The lowest legit price I can find is Lowrangeoffroad.com. They have it for 3K on the nose plus like 50 for shipping.

Tie paypal to a credit card

...Even if they would take Paypal that would still be kind of risky wouldn't it?

Not near as risky as going from a bank account to a bank account - that is a One Way Road with little to zero chance of every being reversed.

Instead, I often use paypal because I tie it to a credit card, one that I know will back me up when push comes to shove with a vendor, citi always has.

Plus using paypal], no one knows your credit card #, I'd rather trust paypal than a bunch of vendors who you don't know how well they secure their data or not, until of course its too late.

Sent Magnuson customer service an e-mail asking about their Singapore based distributor.

I'm betting somebody in Singapore has figured out how to clone a supercharger or maybe "grey" market goods or maybe...

I've got red flags popping up all over the place with this Singapore placed add.
