What are you towing? My boat weighs about the same. What psi are you inflating at that weight?
450lbs tongue weight, 15psi. I haven't gone higher psi, but won't go lower, too much sag.

Put my two valves and air switch from JA's page into the trailer wiring bracket.

Keep the top part of the cone bumpstop after you cut the lowest portions off, use the plastic disc in the 4107 kit as a buffer on the top of the bags.
Yes, keep them inflated to the minimum psi so they don't float in the coils.
Rear bumper cover. I put wire loom around the air lines for the runs. Also got 9" airbags from Firestone for the additional coil length, I believe stock are 7". I have the Toytec Superflex RCC2.0 coils. Got a nice lift from them to keep the hitch from dragging offroad.
I ended up mounting in the same spot as you. Mine seem to stick out quite far. I might put some washers on the backside.
Also, I reached out to Firestone being that I will be running a 2" lift in the rear. Our stock kit would be the 4135 which has a 7.5" tall bag. They recommended the 4107 kit which offers a 9" tall bag.
So I have the Toytec Ultimate 3/2" kit installed on my 07' - and had purchased the 4135 kit a few years ago (as the stock recommendation on the TT site) - but hadn't installed. I am doing this this week - then I read your post about the 4107 kit.
So I called Toytec; They just said that the 4135 kit still works - but I'll be cutting less off the bump stop. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to having more airbag? Should I exchange for 7.5" bags for the 9" kit? Few other questions; apologize if these are old/answered..
1) I've read where folks have installed the AirRide kits between coils, without removing coils, will the Firestone's go in the same way? (Cutting the bumpstops where they sit)
2) What's the consensus - should the air line be routed out the top like I've seen on instructions/videos or bottom? Does it make a difference? Or do I even have a choice with the Firestones?
3) Regardless of which airbag kit - there should be little to no gap between the remaining bumpstop and the airbag (un-inflated) when installed and the truck is sitting unladen, correct?
Thanks all,
I didn't like Toytec's answer "just cut off less of the cone bumpstop". Doing it that way you end up with a 2" wide bumpstop compressing a 4" wide airbag, that didn't make sense to me.
Apparently that method works, or Toytec (a quality outfit) wouldn't recommend doing so. I felt more comfortable going with the 9" 4107 kit and cutting off more of the cone bumpstop so there is a flatter surface for the airbags.
Thanks - yeah it certainly seems a more robust solution to go with the 9" 4107's, but I already have the 4135's (my fault; purchasing the item without thinking it through..:smash. Were you able to install the 9" bags between coils, like others have done with AirLift's?

With the 4107 bags and superflex coils, I trimmed off 3 of the bump stop rings instead of 4. With the larger coil and taller bag the bag sits in the coil perfectly. There is no voided space above the bag. The bag fills the entire coil. I would suspect using the 4135 bags there will be a couple inches of voided space inside the coil thay the airbag does not fill. I'll try to get a picture.
On a stock vehicle it calls for all of the bumpstop to be cut off. If you have aftermarket coils that are 2" taller than stock then cut off 2" less of the bumpstop. However like someone else mentioned, the bumpstop comes to a point, so that might jeopardize the bag if you're only cutting off only a little of the bumpstop.True - but maybe I just cutoff less bumpstop given the shorter bag (4135's). Still a bit confused though on how much less needs to be cutoff. I'm picturing a slight gap - to exact fit (height wise) between the un-inflated bag and bumpstop - with the t4r sitting unladen sitting level in a normal riding position. Like I should measure the gap and mark the bumpstop correctly BEFORE I even start to disassemble. I think once inflated to the minimum (5psi) it'll fill the coil , maintaining the alignment, since I won't have as much surface area against the top of the bag on the bumpstop.
Maybe I'm overthinking it now..
For what it's worth, at 5 psi my bags aren't even touching the interior of the coil yet.True - but maybe I just cutoff less bumpstop given the shorter bag (4135's). Here's how my bags sit in the coil (4107,9" bag)

That seems like it'd be a good spot too. For my application individual fills was a better option. At some point I might choose to link them together.<blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="SNP5CoM"><a href="//imgur.com/SNP5CoM"></a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I mounted the fill valves just behind the mud flaps. There is a factory body screw location that is perfect for the install.
