From what I've read its better to get a HID kit because the stock projector isn't made to an led. It will look better if its HID. Looking to get mine on Xenondepot.

Inb4 the only proper way to do it is retrofit for HID as stock is only designed for halogen.
Heads up, the katana appears to be the same as the supernova v4 and is significantly cheaper ($47 on amazon)

I haven't tried the v4s myself but did just grab a set of katanas and they are nice. They do diminish my radio reception a bit, but I already have a broken antenna and I'm not 4running so it's likely irrelevant here.

Just installed mine happy with it so far it’s much brighter than stock and the cutoff line is very distinct.
I picked up a set of low's and highs as well as the perfect fit bulbs for the fogs. I am very impressed! The lows are two to two and a half times brighter to the eye and the highs are at least four times as bright, I mean like wow bright. The fogs are much brighter as well, maybe twice the output.
As for interior, I did like a previous poster and just picked them up on Amazon, cost maybe $30 for every light except the one in the glove-box (which for the life of me I don't see how to get at).
This is my first post, but I've been lurking for the past few months since I bought my '14 limited. Loving it and the community. I'll be posting more of the mods I've undertaken shortly. There mostly dull street focused stuff though, none of the fun overland stuff.

How do you find the color of the bulbs? Is it a nice white or moving towards the blue end of the spectrum?
For the highs, do you have any issue with DRL? Do the DRL run as normal and at correct brightness?

I just installed the drl/hi beam led bulbs with supernova v.4 however even with the modules they are flickering slightly in drl mode but not when the hi beams on is this normal or is there an issue with the modules
