figure, start one after all the years of owning the runner..

I recently acquired a set of used wheels and decided to re paint to flat black..

I will update some more pictures of it later on this week..

-283k miles as of 04/05/2014
-Picked up brand new back in 1999 with 6 miles on the odometer

Thank you Kzar,

with all the rain that happened in Norcal, the lawn sure got its water and then last week, weather jumped from rainy to sunny.. we went from the 50's to 80's in a few days..

the last time I fertilized it was about 3 weeks back and ever since then, is been growing...

How's the weather in Texas?

I went on the local craiglist and found a mint condition 5 stars for $80... :bash:

so far, I spend $6 dollars for the primer and paint, $4 dollars for the wire brush and $3 dollars for the sand paper..

I would have went powdercoating but $360-$420 for the set..

I rather save that up for a shrockwork or new tires for the wheels..

I used flat black for the color and a dark primer for it.

I didn't sand it after I primed it, I went and painted it after wiping it with some mineral spirits.

I will get some pictures of the paint I used after I get out of class.
