Not a problem man, I got them to mount on the inside.....looks much better IMO......

Every tire is different, so the weights are rarely the same. On my 4 corners, I'm running stick-on weights inside the rim. On my spare, it's a normal weight, mounted on the inside lip.
As for the white walls, really depends on the style of lettering....but I prefer black walls out.

Here is an picture of it, bare with me, it wasn't complete when I took the picture.
This coming week, I be painting my friend's budbuilds for his 4th gen.
My question is, is paint the skids different than building the wheels? If so, what will the proper way of doing it?

over the weekend,
I was searching parts for my rig and came across to , 2 supercharged 4runner (1999 and 2002) and an 97 lifted with all the goodies..
the 2002 is asking a bit more than what I wanted to spend but it would be nice with the updated look.
the 1999 is also supercharged and within my price range + I can save some cash..
the 1997 has pretty much all I wanted to do to mine with a few bucks leftover..
my plans with mine are
- led tail lights + led license plate bulbs.
- hopefully a lift (toytec or Ome's or Sonoran Steel)
- Lockers
- Shrockwork, sliders, and bumpers.
- Lightforces
- Roof Rack
- Winch
- tires and wheels.
- supercharger(hopefully)
should I just invest into the other runners or should I just use the cash and buy either 1 of the 3?

What's the mileage on each? All of them Cali vehicles? I personally would go for the 2002. True that if treated right, these engines can last for a very long time, but I would still want the "newest" of the bunch. Just my personal opinion. But that being said, the 1997 could be the one that seems like it was treated the best. Each vehicle has a different history!

1997
Automatic transmission, 3.4l v6, new timing belt ($1.2k), new brakes (drums, rotors, everything), new trunk keyhole, new catalytic convertor and new exhaust ($3k). Truck has 170,000 mostly freeway miles, which isn't much for this year. Factory tow package, power everything. 5" Lift is done by Sonoran Steel and has Old Man Emu components, rides very nice. Tires are BF Goodrich Mud Terrains 285/75/16 on 16" Rock Krawler rims. I've put my heart and soul into this truck since I got it five years ago: new WabFab custom winch bumper with custom signal assembly, sport edition flares, welded rock sliders, custom CBI rear tire carrier with hi-lift jack adapter and full size spare, tinted windows, CB Radio system with 2 antennas (one city and one 4' whip), Cobra handheld receiver and PA horn, Husky trunk liner and all floor mats. Upgraded radio that's HD ready, Sirius ready and ready for sub woofers, aftermarket speakers, Wet Okele seat covers ($300). This truck has been meticulously maintained, has many more years left. Minor scratches around plastics in the trunk area, some minor sun damage on the roof (paint fading), and one small dent above the right front fender. This truck has everything you want from this generation of 4Runner.

sorry for the delay on the updates..
I was driving down to Hollister this morning with the guys and boy was it fun...
I think is the first time I ever used 4L and I was amazed how much the runner can do..
I will post pictures of it later today.. just got back from Hollister 4 hours ago and going to be up again in a few hours for some skeet shooting with the guys..
