Surf fishing/ beach rigs?!?

Id like to see everyones bea h and surf fishing rigs. Im going to be moving back to NC to do some surf fishing and night surf fishing and going to be hunting camping and etc with it so just kinda want to see what everyone is doing

On a slightly different/slight the same note- this reminds me of how pumped I am to take a trip to Pismo beach in california. It's the only beach here that you can drive/camp/whateverTheHeckYouWant. It's sweet. Lot's of dunes and it just awesome to be able to drive right up to the water line.

We put sand on the roads in the winter. Thats about as close as my truck will get to a beach. :noidea:

I've always thought that driving on the beach (even if you stayed out of the water) was a sure way to start a rust problem. I might be completely off, but every surf fishing truck I ever saw had tons of rust on it.

As long as you give it a good wash it will be alright. I take a low pressure washer to the under carriage, spending time to make sure everything gets touched. Haven't had a rust problem just yet. Although sand is a b%#•* to get out of the carpet.

That's why I wash the heck out of the underside of my truck once I get it off the beach... but your right about a lot of beach rigs. I will probably end up with rust someday too... just can't seem to ever get it all out.

I was really hoping for more pics of Toyotas on the sand... C'mon people... don't make me post more of my Blazer beach pics! :rockthrow:

My eventual plan is to set my 4runner up as a camping/surfing/jon boat hauling vehicle of awesomeness. First I have to get the engine back together, then I have to learn how to surf. I also plan on building one of these, but bigger, so my family of 4 will fit: Roof top tent - DIY - Scratch build - Page 4 - Expedition Portal

On my last trip down a storm had brought the tide all the way up to the dunes, but i still found some sand to park it in to do some exploring on foot.:fro:
