Surf's Down: Partout

That shouldn't be an issue, just get me his address and I'll get a shipping quote. Also, check that your roof rails are the same as North American 4runners, as my Surf ended up having wider rails, and these roof racks didn't fit.

I have sent my bud an email asking for his address. I should get back to you tomorrow, so we can see if it is going to be worth the shipping.

Regarding the model of the roof rails, mine is definatelly not an North American model, because it is a 7 seater. But since I have only seen these racks in pictures, I can´t tell the difference. I am adding some pictures that I have just taken on the garage to see if you can tell.

Here's the pics of the headlights, the damage is to the passenger side (on my truck, driver side for a 4runner), it's very slight, and won't be visible once mounted. These have Osram 70/65w bulbs in them as well.

I would measure mine to compare, but I don't know if they are still where they belong, lol. I measured one of the support bars, and it's 38.5" from end to end, or 37.75" from the outside edge of the bolthole to the outside edge of the other bolthole. Hopefully you can tell from that if they'll work for you.

Those are definitely different than my rails on my 99 North American model.

Ya, I'm guessing BrazilianT4R is in the same boat as me, and North American roof rack won't fit. I'll save the full set for you though BrazilianT4R, let me know if you want them or not.

I have just measured 37.25" from bolt center (on the roof, since I don't have any bar) to bolt center, so I guess that is as good as it gets.

PM sent.

Thanks Ian.

Regards,
Gustavo.

Here's a few pics of one of the roofracks, the other is in the same condition, but is missing 2 of the knobs for the crossbar ends. I believe you may still be able to order replacement parts for these from Toyota, just not complete sets (as in, if you paid the cost, you could likely build yourself a new set).;):

The actual roof mounted rails on my truck are different than the NA 4runners, and they got twisted in the accident, I'm selling just the crossbars and the support bars that fit flush to the roof, with hardware (one set is missing 2 knobs for crossbars). Once I know if I'm keeping/parting the salvage, I'll have a closer look at the endcaps and see if they're the same as what you need.

The floormats are from a grey/blue interior, they have some funky colors, I'll try and snap some pics and get them posted up.

Let me know if you have any questions on the front trutrac.

I'm finally in a position to negotiate on the powertrain! Conditions would be as is-where it is (you arrange pickup/shipping). The truck does start and drive which makes it easier for shipping options. Salvage would include:
-engine
-transmission
-multimode transfer case
-fronts and rear diffs (rear axle housing is bent, diff & gearing is fine)
-all wiring, gauge cluster, ecu's, etc
-whatever else is left of the truck

I'm looking to sell for $4800US OBO. The cost for me to retain the salvage is quite high, and the price has been set accordingly.

If and only if the salvage sells, I would part out the truck further and have some other JDM goodies available. If not the entire truck would be sold at auction by my insurance company.

Truck has 168,XXXkms on it, oil changes every 5k kms with Shell Rotella oil and OEM filters, the diesel filter was changed about a year ago, recent OEM air filter, if I get my asking price I'll include an OEM timing belt and tensioner, a new OEM diesel filter, air filter, and 3x oil filters. I'm running synthetic gear oil in both diffs and TC. Truck is located in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, R2Y 0Y8, about an hour north of the Pembina border crossing in ND. If you have any questions, please let me know. I'd like to get this firmed up in the next week, if nothing comes of it I'll let the insurance company tow it away. 2nd gen 1/2 cuts are selling for about $5500US, and you get a lot more for your money buying the entire truck IMO. I'd love to see this stay in the community.

you don't happen to have the conical rear coil spring bump stops do you? The ones that fit inside the top of the spring?

Thanks

My truck didn't actually have that style bump stops, just the rectangular ones on the axle.
